Parents and families are important partners on a student's college journey. The New Student and Family Programs team is here to support Eagle families from the time their students enroll through to graduation. We are dedicated to keeping you informed and helping you find the answers and guidance to help you support your student's success.

Family & Supporters Orientation

Parents/family members of new students are invited to attend Family & Supporters Orientation 2025 on Sunday, August 17 or Monday, August 18 (select one date to attend). This afternoon experience enables new families to learn more about campus resources and meet the »Ê¼ÒŠÊ˜·³Ç staff who will work with their students throughout their time at »Ê¼ÒŠÊ˜·³Ç. Meet fellow new families and hear from current students and »Ê¼ÒŠÊ˜·³Ç leaders on various topics including academic success, support resources, and more! Event registration will open in July. 

The Nest Network

The Nest Network is a group of »Ê¼ÒŠÊ˜·³Ç parent/family volunteers that supports student success and the University. The Network is designed to foster community, enhance engagement, and represent the interests of »Ê¼ÒŠÊ˜·³Ç families. Together, we create an environment in which families can connect, discover »Ê¼ÒŠÊ˜·³Ç, and contribute to the wellbeing of both students and families in partnership with the New Student and Family Programs team.
