Green Revolving Investment Tracking System (GRITS) Dashboard

GRITS is how the ENE teams tracks all the energy projects we do on campus and how much energy and costs we are saving in the long run.

Projects include:

• 2012-2024 48 Energy Conservation Projects – various HVAC, Lighting, etc.
• 2012-2025 9+ new LEED certified buildings (standard is LEED gold or better).
• 2015 Colonial-Eagle Solar PPA - REC’s for half our campus load (e.g. 22K+ MWh).
• 2018-2020 Steam Plant replaced - with trigeneration Low Temp Hot Water Plant. 
• 2020-2022 Chilled Water Master Plan – plant consolidations using multi-stage/mag-bearing chillers.
• 2024-2026 new Center for Athletic Performance – 92K+ GSF; Net Zero w/Solar (1324 panels) & Geothermal (85 wells at 550ft deep) & HRC domestic water heater.
