Nyota Ndogo Confronts Abuser
Afro-fusion songbird Nyota Ndogo on Thursday (02.10.09) created a scene, in Mombasa’s Mwembe Tayari market, when she confronted a man who called her a whore. Accompanied by two policemen, the singer claimed the tout had insulted her while passing near his office. The incident attracted onlookers, including her fans. ''This man called me names after I repeatedly told him that I wasn’t travelling anywhere. He called me a whore, a thing that annoyed me so much. I don’t have a reputation of sleeping around with men,'' she told the officers. On his side, the tout pleaded guilty and asked the singer to forgive her. ''I'm just a hustler trying to merge extremes. If you let me be incarcerated it would be appalling. Kindly forgive me. I am even ready to kneel down,'' he said. Several other touts joined in and pleaded with the singer to forgive him, to which she agreed.

Happy Re-union!
Words are being shuffled around in whispers and some have fallen into our snoops’ ears: Zuena and Bebe might have reunited. We cannot say that we did not see this coming, we just did not know when it would happen. The celeb couple made headlines when they broke up. Since then, Mr. Cool never let the matter cool down as he has been whirring on in song after song (Agenze and Mumugambe), beseeching Zuena to take him back. It seems Zuena has been touched by Bebe’s outcry and wants to re-ignite the romance. The official unveiling of Zuena reloaded, we hear, will take place on October 3, 2009 when Bebe Cool will be launching his Agenze album. He wanted to keep the Zuena unveiling as a surprise album launch package but … ooops!

Cold shoulder 4 Blu3!
RUMOUR has been going round that Blu3 and Steve Jean (their former manager) had parted ways.
At the moment, we do not know what to make of their relationship. Recently, Steve Jean bounced Blu3 at GNL Zamba’s concert at Kyadondo where he was the events manager.
The girls were told that they could not perform because they had not rehearsed for the show, were not lined up to perform and were not “too big” to get in the way of GNL.
The group’s pleas that it had a collabo with GNL fell on deaf ears as Steve Jean claimed he did not know about it.
And we thought that Steve Jean should have been the first to know!

Chameleone's feud with a Sud!
We sometimes hate to tell you that Jose Chameleone was involved in yet another accident, fight or fracas, but the brother never lets us rest. For starters, the new title “Mr Trouble” that we suggested he should add to his long list of titles, seems to have changed things because this time he was not the trouble-causer.
While having a chat with his crew outside Ange Noir discotheque last Saturday, Chameleone was approached by a seemingly drunk man who revealed he was his fan from Sudan.
The unidentified man who disembarked from a maroon saloon Lexus hugged Chamelone before giving him $200. Chameleone thanked the man and put the money on his forehead as a sign of appreciation, but this didn’t seem to go down well with the man who slapped Chamelone so heavily.
Chameleone’s boys were quick to come to their boss’ rescue who even though he seemed to have lost it, maintained his calm as the Sudanese man called him names.
Meanwhile, the Sudanese man also had a group of lads that hurriedly joined him, but they were scared away by boda-boda riders who swore to fight back if any of them touched Chameleone and his crew.
Meanwhile, Chameleone shocked fans that had turned up for his Golden Friday concert last Friday when he drove away without performing. Sources within his Leone Island crew gave us the Sqoop that he (Chameleone) had not been fully paid by the organisers who included WBS’s Chopa Chopa and Dembe FM’s Munamasaka.
Chameleone however went and performed at GNL’s Koi Koi concert!

Zuena in new triangle!
Zuena Kirema, we are told, is in another bitter fight with another gal for Eric Obua. This gal is only identified as Shina and she is a MUBS student. She’s of Arab origin. Just last week, we told of how mom-of-two Zuena and Miss Uganda Dora Mwiima were feuding each other over the URA footie star Eric. Now reports indicate the fight also involves another gal, Shina, a second year MUBS student. We hear Shina has also been dating Eric. When Eric doesn’t sleep at his place, he stays at the gal’s place in Akamwesi Hostel. And this has not gone down well with Zuena. Afriend told us: “Zuena knows Shina is hot. The pair sort of resemble and this makes Zuena very uncomfortable. She knows she can lose Eric to her.”

Safina we are told is in Kampala on a short holiday and this has sent panic waves through Barbie’s heart. Says her close pal: “She’s not happy! Especially when Bobi is away from home, she’s insecure.” In fact the Wesotinge star is set to perform in London in a show dubbed Fire in the City from 25th July to 2nd August. We are told Barbie insists she must go with him. Recently, she forcefully followed him in his Dubai tour. It is definitely not good news in the first family
