Ali Kiba hits at Sly! Tanzania singer Ali Kiba is known for his storytelling lyrics. This time he promises to record a diss track directed at a Kenyan Promoter, Sylvester George , who ¨ made away with my girl friend.¨
Our source claims that Ali Kiba ´s unidentified Coast-based girlfriend whom he has been dating for a while allegedly had a torrid affair with Sylvester. When Ali Kiba found out, he sent Sylvester a message promising that he will star in one of his new singles.
Ali Kiba failed to show up at an event organised by the promoter, who own Pinkas Media , at Mombasa Polytechnic, a week ago.
Sylvester has denied the claims in online entertainment sites.

M1 sabotaging Nakaaya! This time last year the rumor mill was filled with stories of bongo singer Nakaaya making plans to wed.Nakaaya was said to be engaged to rapper M1 of hip hop group Dead Prez and h ad been signed up to Sony Music Company .Like the rumors many months later,there was nothing to show of both her record deal and impending marriage.In a blog posting,the singer recently opened up about what happened with Sony and M1.
She revealed that she was totally smitten by the rapper but soon realized that he wasn’t the man for her.When she broke up with him,M1 reportedly sent two letters to Sony claiming that Nakaaya was threatening him.
“My calls to the label then stopped being answered.When they were,all queries about my future were answered with a simple ‘we are still planning’,” read the message.
Nakaaya admits that it was a difficult time for her but she has worked through that.
The singer is making plans to run for the Arusha parliamentary seat under her new party Chedama (Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo)

Nonini booed!
The self proclaimed Godfather of Genge Nonini faced every perfomer’s nightmare over the weekend-he got booed.
The rapper was one of the perfomers at this year’s Copa Coca Cola Under 17 National Finals held on Saturday at the City Stadium. They compete at the local, state and national levels in order to determine the top male and female youth football teams in the country.
Nonini was given the task of performing during the half time of the final match between Nyanza and Nairobi . However in his bid to entertain, he overstayed his time on stage and continued to perform even after the allotted half time was over.
The impatient crowd would have none of it and they heckled him time was over.
An embarrassed Nonini left shortly afterwards. Jua Cali had better luck as he performed after the game that saw the Nyanza team crowned the 2010 Dream Team after they beat the Nairobi team 3-2.
The best players in the tournament will travel to South Africa for a chance to play in the Africa Copa coca cola tournament.
In addition to watching one game at the Fifa World Cup, one of the players will have an opportunity to represent Kenya as a flag bearer during the historic tournament. View Comments (0)

Tahidi High actress Sarah Hassan , better known to her audience as Tanya , has rebutted claims that she is having an affair with a top government official. The model-cum-actress was reportedly at the same venue with the top personality a week ago and some media reports emerged that she was linked to him.
Speaking exclusively to UEG , the actress revealed that she was at the venue with five of her girlfriends and the said personality just happened to be at the venue and she said hallo.

MP leaves 'sausage funga' stranded They insist on being called honorable members but some of them are not honorable at all. Sample this. A certain female MP had a nice time in a top Mombasa hotel with a Clande over the weekend. The lovebirds shared a night of pleasure but had to cut the business early in the morning since the MP had to catch an early morning flight for Nairobi . The sausage funga had obviously laboured in the night and decided to continue sleeping after the MP had left. When the time came for him to check out he was shocked to learn that the lawmaker had not paid for him as an extra guest. Now required to pay for expensive double room by the hotel management, the clande muttered and stammered.

Juliana's runaway hit! We are told singer Juliana Kanyomoz i’s new song 'Oluusi Nkoowa ' has gone missing from Fire Base Studio .
She was set to release it later this week. This new single was being worked on from Bobi Wine ’s Fire Base studios. Studio insiders reckon the new song was going to be Juliana’s greatest work.
One told us: “Juliana is depressed, she was set to announce her comeback with this song but now it’s gone. She’s totally depressed.”

Seanice got axed! The reasons behind former socialite Seanice Kacungira ’s exit from the Nairobi based Capital FM have been revealed. UEG has landed on rumour that Seanice, who had spent almost four years at the station, was actually knifed by the top management.
A source said “Seanice was good at her job but she was starting to get big headed and this led to conflicts between her and the top managers.Though she keeps telling people she resigned to settle back in Kampala with her man, she was actually knifed!”

Lillian to go it solo! The Blu3 singers have been trying to revive their career ever since Cindy left the group to pursue a solo career where she is evidently doing very well. She was replaced by Mya who has been undergoing vocal training to be able to fill the gap Cindy left.
The latest information we are receiving is that Lillian could leave the group now that she even went ahead to record a song with new kid on the block Rabadaba , a track she did without Mya and Jackie as it has been the case with other collabos.
The Group’s manager has been holding meetings with the concerned parties to see to it that this does not happen. Lillian could be looking at artistes like Cindy who broke off from the very group and HB Toxic that broke off from the Obsessions group who are doing very well.

Bobi Wine to buy chopper We have learnt that the singer is looking for US$400,000 to purchase the chopper! He was heard telling friends in Mbarara town this afternoon that he wants the machine for showbiz and business!
He says he was inspired by rival singer Jose Chameleone ’s travel aboard a chopper during his wedding last year.
The two singers are known for their stiff rivalry which they display in showbiz property like posh houses and cars.
