The latest celebrities to be linked with controversial church Finger of God are members of the female singing group Tattuu, who made a comeback last year.
One group member, Angela "Shinde" Mwanadanda, came out strongly to defend her former church.
“I have been attending services at the Finger of God and it has been a church like any other. It's only the past couple of weeks when Quincy Timberlake joined the church and brought with him doctrinal practices contrary to the bible that we left the church,” she told UEG.
The church, run by musician Joseph Hellon, has been accused of being a cult. “There had been no cultic practices since I joined them last year July (2009),” Mwandanda said.
Asked if the other two members of Tattuu, Debbie Asila and Angie 'Rabbo' Ndambuki, attended the church, Mwandanda said that she and Debbie, also a Kiss 100 presenter, had been frequenting the church but Shinde "only used to go there once in a while."
