Award-winning gospel artiste Rufftone is the Kenyan ambassador for a new energy drink Vita 500 which hit the streets on Friday (May19).

The Mwikhulu singer-cum-producer will be doing brand endorsement for the soft drink, appearing in out-door adverts as well as print and electronic media commercials.

“I feel blessed to have been considered the face behind the vitamin drink. It is a good gesture for a foreign company to come and pick me as their ambassador,” Rufftone told us in an exclusive interview. “The first deal stretches through six months after which we will consider renewing it.”

Rufftone is the fourth Kenyan artiste to endorse a brand this year after Esther Wahome (Malta Guinness), DJ Adrian (Malta Guinness) and the ‘King of Genge’ Jua Cali who signed a record breaking KShs10 million contract with mobile phone service providers Orange.
