Bebe Cool and Washington part ways!

After bagging three awards during the just concluded PAM Awards, things are not looking good for Uganda’s reggae musician.
Bebe Cool, who had a bad year with fellow musicians, has fallen out with his long time producer Washington.
The producer has worked on almost all of Bebe’s latest hits but the two are rumored to have broken up and are no longer working together.
Sources told us that the two have been having problems and that Washington downed his tools and called it a day.
“Washington and Bebe quarelled bitterly and has vowed never to record any of his songs. Bebe is the cause of all the bad blood as there things he said about Washington that didnt go well with him,” added the source.
Meanwhile, Bebe’s feud with other musicians widened when he attacked Ghetto President Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone on TV.
While being interviewed by Bush Baby in his new show, Uganda Central, Bebe Cool dissed both Chameleone and Bobi terming them as below his class.
“I’m not anywhere near Chameleone or Bobi Wine. I’m above them in everything - the cars I drive, the music I do and my fanbase. I cannot go about bragging that I have a degree in music, dance and drama. That’s utter bullshit,” he said.
But in a quick rejoinder, Bobi Wine said that he cannot fight Bebe Cool who is still struggling to beat upcoming artistes.
“Bebe Cool has along way to go.What lifestyle does he talk about when he is still under a land lord? He’s scared of Radio and Weasal and he dares the President he will have to apologise in public. Let him play with me,” an angry Bobi retorted.
The beef season in Uganda has caught fire and the tension in the industry is getting worse.
Sources further said that Bebe was angered by the re-union of Chameleone, Bobi Wine and Radio and sees it as a force to bring him down.
