And now our very own Prezzo (Jackson Makini Ngechu) can be added to the list.

On Tuesday night, the self-proclaimed King of Bling was involved in a bizarre carjacking and shooting that involved him, and unknown driver and a young woman who happens to be his neighbor.

Four men, who were in a car that bumped Prezzo’s from behind, nabbed him at Kilimani near his palatial home.

They proceeded to take Prezzo, his driver and the lady, and drove away with them.

The gangsters then robbed them of their valuables.

Prezzo was the only one shot of the three, after which they were later dumped on Mumias Road in Buruburu, causing serious speculation about the apparent ‘carjacking’.

A source revealed: “When they shot him in the head area, Prezzo feigned death, which is when the gangsters threw him out of the car.”

Good Samaritans who found the trio took them to hospital, where he was treated. After several hours of observation, the artiste was discharged.

As of late Wednesday night, “a Pajero Mitsubishi that the gangsters were allegedly driving was recovered in Buruburu and is currently at the police station,” said a police spokesman.

Word from a source close to the family claims: “The shooting was over a business deal gone sour.”

Numerous calls to the star’s mother went unanswered.
