The Tanzanian high court judge Robert Makaramba on Tuesday accepted bongo artiste TID (Khalid Mohamed) appeal on his charge of assault which led to a one-year jail sentence.

This was after his attempts on Monday were thwarted.

TID now has a ten-day window to state his case.

He is currently incarcerated in Seregea where he has already served four months.
